The reunion committee members have selflessly donated thousands of hours of their time to organizing Woodroffe's 50th Anniversary Reunion. Their hard work and perseverance have paid off and the reunion is shaping up to be a huge success.

Profiles;

Nancy (Zidichouski) Romanovitch
Nancy attended WHS 1974-1979 and then moved west to Alberta and then North to NWT. Nancy returned to her native Ottawa in 1984, where she met her husband Stephen. They have two great teenage boys and a dog who keep them busy! Nancy was employed as a banker, office manager, buyer for Ontario Gov't and has finally come to rest in a career she is truly passionate about. She is the owner of infiniti design, a graphic design company in Kanata, since 2002. She wishes to thank everyone on the committee for their dedication and commitment to making the 50th reunion a success!  It will be the fruits of our labour for all of us to savour! Get your dancing shoes on and see you in May...

Brenda (Hagan) Kendall
Brenda attended Woodroffe from 1971-1976, actually grauduating in January 1976 thanks to the semester system. After graduation she worked in property management but  tried to ski and travel as much as possible. She has two amazing daughters, one in univeristy and one in high school.  She successfully started a business in 1997 and currently is quite busy with that as well as enjoying her children. She has been busy organizing the evening events and is really looking forward to a very successful reunion.  "It has been an amazing time organizing the events and hearing people's stories and recollections of their time at Woodroffe". Brenda looks forward to seeing everyone with their dancing shoes on.... "Please come and have a great time reconnecting with the past".

Brenda Joe-Packman
Brenda attended WHS from '70 to '75. She is married to Robert Packman who is also a WHS grad. Brenda has 2 children, a daughter who is graduating from WHS and a son who attends Sir Robert Borden. Brenda has been an elementary teacher with the former OBE and present OCDSB since 1981.

Carmen Rush
Carmen Rush was a student at Woodroffe High School from 1971 to 1976. She graduated from Carleton University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Science and went on to Queen's University for a Bachelor of Education Degree in 1980-81. Carmen is a secondary school math teacher with the public board in Ottawa, now in her 29th year of teaching. She is organizing the 1970's memorabilia room and is looking forward to reconnecting with alumni at the reunion.

John Margeson
John is part of the class of 1975, but he actually graduated in 1974 thanks to the introduction of the semester system. Following high school, John completed a degree in chemistry at Carleton University, and then Masters and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Ottawa. John has worked for the federal government for over 27 years, the last 20 at Industry Canada where he is the sector specialist focussed on the chemical and plastics industries. John's wife, Karen Horton, is also a Woodroffe grad, as are his two children.

Paul O'Donnell
Paul taught English at Woodroffe from 1970 to 1995

Ella Watters
Ella attended Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School prior to being employed for 12 years in the Order, Planning and Production Office of Domtar Papers in Cornwall. Ella moved to Ottawa and Joined the Woodroffe High School secretarial staff in May of 1967 and was EDP secretary from Sept 1969 until retirement in June 1992.

Roy Morrison
Roy attended Woodroffe High School from 1973 to 1977. After graduating from Woodroffe, Roy worked for Revenue Canada - Taxation for two seasons and then accepted a position at the Bank of Canada. Roy is married with 2 children and he spends his spare time writing and recording songs. Roy is serving the reunion committee by working on a number of multimedia projects.

Paul Sumner
Paul is a member of the class of '86 and attended Woodroffe High School from grade 10 through grade 12. After high school Paul became an entrepreneur, mortgage specialist, real-estate developer and real-estate sales associate.

Susan (Barrington) Fortin
Susan attended Woodroffe from 1967-1971. She worked as Senior Paralegal for the federal Dept. of Justice and happily retired in 2008 after 31 years of service. Susan enjoys spending the summer months at her cottage on Mississippi Lake. Susan is married to Pierre and they have 24 year old twin boys and a 20 year old son. Susan is Chair of the Registration Committee for Woody's 50 Year Reunion. "Being part of the Organizing Committee has given me the chance to reconnect with many of my classmates and I look forward to reminiscing with everybody at the Reunion.

Trish Morgan
Trish taught French and German and later Business and Computers at Woodroffe from 1972-1990. She was the staff advisor for Student Council. She is enjoying her life as a retired teacher.

Terry Beach
Terry attended WHS 1979-1981 she then entered into a career in Construction Administration for the next 20 years, picking up CGA courses along the road. Terry has one 18 year old daughter who is an aspiring singer and designer. These two pioneers moved out west to British Columbia for a few years and returned in 2005 to take care of elderly relatives. After returning to Ottawa soil, Terry changed career course and landed in the IT field. She continues to work as a Consultant for an international IT firm. She is very happy to be on the committee toiling away with alumni registrations and is excited to reconnect with old neighbours and friends.
